Join us for the SYNERGY: A Soulful Sound Session, a dynamic showcase celebrating the powerful voices, stories and artistry of 10 emerging artists who have spent weeks refining their craft in our songwriting camp. Through deep exploration of identity, culture and creativity, these artists have shaped their unique sound, and now, they’re ready to share it with you.

Meet the Artists

Jahaz

Ajhani “Jahaz” Azure is a talented 23-year-old independent singer, guitarist, producer, and vocalist hailing from Brampton, Ontario. Jahaz’s goal is to make waves in the music industry with a unique approach and sound, inspiring others to break boundaries. His genre-defying pop music takes inspiration from various genres, blending Latin pop, Reggaeton, jazz, and R&B into captivating tracks like “Alone,”standing at over
to” True,” “Complicated,” and more.

Jahaz’s sweet vocals and self-produced music create a sound that is truly one-of- a-kind. With influences like Frank Ocean, Kevin Abstract/Brockhampton, Childish Gambino, and Dijon, Jhaz is on a path to artistic greatness.

Andrea

Andrea Isaro is a Rwandan, Toronto-based, singer-songwriter. She is a 21 year old university student who has recently started diving deeper into her journey as an artist and has captured hearts with her lyrics, catchy melodies, and soothing voice. She’s a reflective individual who enjoys writing songs based on experiences, emotions, and embarrassing moments that we can all relate to. A lover of all genres, her sound blends folk, R&B, and a hint of bossa nova, creating a unique and inviting musical style.”

Ariel View

Ariel View is an enchanting songstress serving what she calls ‘food for the soul,’ intersecting a plate of staple old school RnB sound infused with refreshing neo-soul. As a teen she gained local attention with her covers of late 90s -00s classics, since then acquiring nearly 10K streams across platforms today. With a rich Caribbean heritage as a source of inspiration, the Toronto based singer continues to develop her artistry, adding a dash of vibrant vocals into the mix of evolving urban sounds.

Efe

Efua Yankum Osei-Mensah, better known by her artist name kumii (stylized all lowercase) is a

jazz-inspired R&B artist from Brampton, Ontario. With a sentimental sound, and inspiration from

artists like Cassandra Wilson and Minnie Riperton. Her music tells stories of the human

experience and intrapersonal relationships. kumii seeks to deliver work that explores altruistic

ideas and self discovery.

Jeph Haven

Jeph Haven is 25 year old R&B artist raised in Toronto Canada. Haven’s interests for poetry and song writing started at the age of 16 when he would attend spoken word and slam poetry competitions held in the city of Toronto. Haven would then go on and study musical theatre and Drama at Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts. There he would join a collective called LOSBRAVADO with Kataem and Release his first single on SoundCloud “Only thing I Know”. He would then go on and release his first EP project “MOTH” on All streaming platforms which had amazing local success in Toronto. Haven has gotten his musical influence from Gospel, R&B, Pop, and Hip-hop and draws from all these genres and is heard throughout his music

LXi LO

LXi LO is a new wave in the Canadian music scene. Her cinematic and genre-bending production is somewhere between the raw lyrical sound of 070 Shake, the avant-garde songwriting of FKA Twigs and the soundscape inspired by film composers like Hans Zimmer and Michael Giaccino. LXi LO’s storytelling taps into universal truths, with poetic insight and deep reflections, drawing in her audience with an intimate delivery that crescendos into an otherworldly cosmic symphony.

Wynne Badoe

Wynne Badoe a musical Swiss-army-knife based in Toronto. Born in London, UK to Ghanaian parents, his family moved to Canada in the 90s. Based in rap and r&b, Wynne’s willingness to explore different roles results in witty bars, addictive melodies, and compelling production. His songs might remind you of conversations with your favourite cousin: naturally uplifting, honest, and sometimes challenging you to look inward.To date, Wynne has performed live in 4 countries, and his music production and songwriting has resulted in millions of digital streams. His passion for storytelling and producing music videos has recently led him into the world of acting.

Rey D

Rey D is an award winning Bahamian-Canadian recording artist, songwriter, musician and producer. He has a style that incorporates multiple genres from Rnb to Rap to Gospel to Pop and Reggae. It’s his absolute joy to use his voice to inspire and encourage people through his music.
