Want to learn how to create a compelling portrait drawing?
Visual artist Kanisha Dabreo, from Artistic Perception, is leading a 3-day Portrait drawing workshop, where she will guide you from start to end in creating a compelling portrait drawing using charcoal and graphite!
Through the 3-days you will explore different visual arts techniques, from shading and light to how to structure the head, proportions, placements and features of the face.
All supplies and materials will be provided for you.

Kanisha Dabreo is a Toronto based Artist, graphic designer, and founder of Artistic Perception. She studied French Studies & Visual Arts at York University and has over 7 years experience in fine arts, teaching, tutoring, and mentoring. During her free time she enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures and ways of life. For her, community involvement is vital and a form of activism. Kanisha has contributed in diverse ways both locally and abroad, visiting over 30 countries to volunteer, teach, and meet new people. Her aim is art is to show the beauty and strength or diversity and culture.
