Want to build your creative writing skills?

This month, Creative Connect is launching UNBLOCKED, a series of four weekly creative writing workshops that will allow emerging artists or youth between the ages of 14- 19, to learn tips, strategies and gain insight on how to write, perform and promote your short stories, poetry and more!

On Thursday November 27th, author and ghostwriter Kern Carter, will lead an introduction to writing workshop, teaching you the different forms of writing and providing you with new strategies and activities that will allow you to find your creative voice and work through writing blocks!

This workshop is intended for youth and emerging artists between the ages of 14-29*

Kern Carter is a writer and author who has written and published two novels — Thoughts of a Fractured Soul and Beauty Scars. Kern is also a ghostwriter with credits in Forbes, the New York Times, Global Citizen and Fatherly.com, along with having ghostwritten several books. When he’s not penning novels or ghostwriting, Kern creates and curates stories through CRY Magazine, his online magazine that aims to help writers and artists navigate the emotions of their creative journey.
