Interested in creating a community-based practice?
Toronto is changing rapidly. With the rising cost of living, exacerbated mental health crises and hardship in the city: community is more essential than ever. These changing conditions are forcing creatives to rethink how we build sustainable and holistic communities.
In this artist talk, photographer Ebti Nabag and multidisciplinary artist Apanaki Temitayo will discuss how their practice has evolved and opened up to community. This talk is essential for artists who are looking to transition from a studio practice to one that incorporates care, mentorship and support for others.
This event is virtual. Join the talk on Wednesday, November 23rd from 6pm-8pm
