Erasure poetry is the art of creating poetry by erasing words out of an existing text to create a new voice and story. It is your opportunity to add your twist and create your own poem using the words from your favourite writers.
On Tuesday August 25th, our Program Facilitator Sapphire Woods will explore erasure poetry and guide you in developing a creative method to blacking out the words on a page to create an experience using the work of M. NourbeSe Philips poetry book “Zong!”.
