Celebrate National Poetry Month with a laidback open mic/jam session here at Nia Centre, where emerging artists, poets and musicians will be showcasing their spellbinding talents. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just curious to test out the waters, this stage could be yours. We’re selecting 5 spoken word poets to perform for the night. And for those not selected, we’ve set aside 5 additional slots for artists to sign up in-person on a first come, first served basis. Come out to share your talent, discover new voices, and connect with fellow artists and creators.

Sign up to perform here.

Applications close on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
