Want to elevate your social media?
Social media monoliths appear daunting,and whether you are a visual artist, musical artist, dancer or writer. TikTok and Instagram are wonderful tools that can help you showcase your body of work. If used to your advantage, these platforms can be a game changing way to introduce your work to a variety of audiences.
In this workshop, musician IAMREBELWILL and PR strategist Uju Nweze-Fadare will share the ways that Black artists can familiarize themselves can make social media to work for them.
Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions, and receive feedback in a group setting.
Meet the Facilitators
IAMREBEL WILL
Montreal born, Toronto-based entertainer IAMREBELWILL is influenced by the showmanship of Janet Jackson, the artistry of Andre 3000 and the feels of Kaytranada. His latest project ‘RebelFuturism’, sees the artist use his voice to challenge stereotypes in mainstream pop. In all his work, he aims to empower LGBTQ and POC listeners to be themselves, fearlessly.

Uju Nweze-Fadare
Uju Nweze-Fadare is a seasoned PR and marketing strategist with a decade of experience serving diverse industries in Canada. She is the Chief Strategist at Juile PR, a boutique PR and marketing agency for startups, small businesses, and public figures. A teacher at heart, Uju has facilitated numerous marketing and PR workshops for a variety of organizations, as well as media training sessions to help her clients shine during media interviews.
