Want to explore radio broadcasting?
Interested in elevating your voice and ideas through radio or podcasting? In this workshop with Toronto Metropolitan University’s (formerly known as Ryerson University) CJRU 1280AM is a campus-community radio station that provides free training to help you reach your community and beyond!
Across four workshops, we will work closely with you to produce a radio segment on a topic of your choice. From the brainstorming stage to editing your final audio piece, a CJRU 1280AM staff member will cover everything you need to know to produce your own audio segment. You will even have the chance to air your final piece on CJRU! Learn more about us and listen in at cjru.ca.
Through this collaboration with CJRU radio participants will have the hands-on opportunity to explore, learn and build capacity in radio/podcast/broadcasting content and podcasts. This opportunity also certifies them to be volunteers within the CJRU where they can continue to hone their talents, and gain access to studio space after the program is completed.
