Come and celebrate love with us!
Painting has played an instrumental role in preserving and archiving Black stories, moments and events as a way to help shape and tell our history across generations. Painting serves as our collective memory and through this art form, we are able to visually see and represent ourselves outside of the preconceived imagery of what is considered the dominant culture/ideology.
Working alongside art facilitator and artist Tray Arts, participants will learn how to create a portrait drawing that represents the theme of Black Love. All supplies and materials will be provided.
Cost: $20.00CAD
