Whether it’s through music or performance, poetry is a powerful tool for self-expression and a historic pillar of Black art and culture. Celebrate Poetry Month with Nia Centre, for an evening of refreshing and empowering spoken word performances by emerging artists in our youth programs. They will be sharing creative pieces on our IG Live @niacentre.

Tune in on April 27 at 6pm for a performance you won’t want to miss, followed by a discussion on their work and how poetry has been instrumental in forming their artistry.

You don’t want to miss the performance, make sure you tune in and follow us on Instagram.
