As part of our Creative Connect program, we create space and opportunities for youth within TDSB to expand their artistic interests, identities and skills outside of the classrooms!
We are bringing Black arts and culture into the classrooms!
Our Creative Connect Mentors and Artist Educators facilitate high quality, engaging and culturally relevant artistic workshops in Creative Writing, Visual Arts ( painting, sculpture, mixed media), Photography, Dance, Theatre, Music and much more!
Through a combination of hands on workshops and experiential learning opportunities, youth are able to;
Develop and learn new art skills, artistic mediums and tools
Visit and engage in the artistic experience and exhibitions across Toronto
Connect and receive career advice from Artist Professionals working within the Creative Sectors.

Students Need Volunteer Hours?
We offer students the opportunity to work alongside our staff to gain art administrative, communication, leadership and organizational skills while fulfilling their volunteering quota!
Our Creative Connect Artists and Artist Educators have a wealth of creative facilitation experience, and have up-to-date vulnerable sector checks.
