Why a Black Art Fair?
Nia Centre’s purpose is to support, showcase, and promote an appreciation for art from across the African Diaspora. One of the most impactful ways that we can support Black artists, and our community as a whole, is through purchasing and acquiring art created by Black artists, which allows them to not only develop, grow, and sustain their careers, but also provides artists with a level of legitimacy and confidence within their practices.
