Celebrate the opening of our redeveloped space!
Homecoming is an evening of art, music, and culture, celebrating the opening of our redeveloped home here at 524 Oakwood Avenue. Our community is our foundation, and its with this foundation that we enter a new era at Nia Centre. Featuring a live performance by rapper B1GJuice, an artful floral activation led by Shada Morris of Forè, plus good food & drinks, and even greater vibes.
The first 50 people through our doors will receive a free Nia Centre tote bag! Quantities are limited, so don’t miss out.

As a former NCAA D1 athlete returning home from a diagnosis of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, it was his love for music that drove him to live again. Now blessed with a sense of resilience, he explores the lessons of overcoming traumas and his current journey to happiness. Tyreek is a champion and advocate for BIPOC creativity in the GTA as he is a staple in the city’s underground hip-hop community and performing arts sector. Integrating real vulnerability with hard-hitting stories Tyreek uses his voice to speak to the sheer resilience every creator needs today. Instagram
Shada Morris is the director of Forè, a landscape design studio based in Toronto. Shada has sat on The Landscape Ontario – Toronto Chapter Board since 2021 and has been featured on HGTV.
Growing up you could either find her in a garden or in a tree. From an early age she knew being surrounded by nature brought her a sense of calm and connection and her mission is to share that feeling with all. Forè combines her love for nature with design to create breathable spaces in the most unlikely of places. Website
