Craft a captivating artist statement
Your artist statement is the worlds first formal introduction to your work. A compelling statement showcases your skillset, your work and communicates vision as an artist. Building a clear and concise statement will open doors for you to access funding and opportunities and speak to curators and industry professionals.
In this two-part virtual workshop series, artist and curator Genevieve Wallen will guide you to creating a unique artist statement. Artists will have the opportunity to receive 1:1 feedback on their work and tips on how utilize your statement.
