It’s that time again- Camp Kuumba is here!

Camp Kuumba is a FREE March Break program that allows youth between the ages of 14-19, the opportunity to explore various art disciplines, build their artistic talents and connect with their peers over March Break! This year, Camp Kuumba will be held virtually.

Youth will have the opportunity to learn and explore different art disciplines such as;

  • Culinary Arts – NEW WORKSHOP DATES AVAILABLE
  • Dance & Movement – Workshop Closed
  • Theatre & Performance – NEW WORKSHOP DATES AVAILABLE
  • Visual Arts: Painting – NEW WORKSHOP DATES AVAILABLE
  • Graphic Design

Camp Kuumba Full Line Up

Monday March 14th | 5:30pm – 7:30pm OR Wednesday March 16th | 5:30pm -7:30pm : Cooking with Mo Akins

Learn how to make a healthy meal with Mo.

Tuesday March 15th | 4:30pm -6:30pm: Dance & Movement with Shakkoi

Get moving and learn a choregraped dance piece alongside multidisciplinary artist Shakkoi Hibbert.

Wednesday March 16th | 4:30pm – 6:30pm OR Thursday March 17th | 5pm – 7pm Theatre & Performance with Rais

Explore theatre & performance and learn how to develop and performance your own monologue.

Thursday March 17th | 4:30pm – 6:30pm OR Friday March 18th | 1pm – 3pm: Painting with Honore

Paint Night! Learn how to create your own abstract painting.

Friday March 17th| 4:30pm – 6:30pm: Graphic Design with Bronwin

Explore graphic design and learn new tips and techniques that will help you take your  art to the next level.
