This is your second chance to take a dynamic trip down memory lane through the artistic and creative lens of director and multidisciplinary artist Matthew Progress!
On Thursday May 28th, TXN will drop via Vimeo from 5pm until 7pm, followed by an Artist Talk and Q&A with Matthew, where he will unpack the moments, people and themes within the video-essay.
There is only a 2 hour window to view TXN, so make sure to register for the event to be notified and be sent the link to access the video-essay
TXN, reflects on the people, movements and moments that shaped & defined Black culture in Canada over the past decade.
TXN Director, Matthew Progress, is heavily influenced by surrealism and contemporary Black culture, he creates content rooted in social commentary, with the intention of inspiring transformation. He specialized in music, film, and various forms of writing and his work has been featured in numerous publications including The Fader, Daily Vice, Clash Magazine and Noisey
