Join us for an enchanting Spring-themed vase painting workshop, where creativity blossoms and dreams take root!
Join us for a fun filled Spring-themed vase painting workshops, where participants will have the opportunity to plant their “affirmations”, design and pant their plant pots. Our facilitator is Artist in Resident “Chawntay Barrett” will guide participants as they explore whimsical patterns, blooming florals and plant their affirmations or dreams. This hands-on workshop is an opportunity to personalize each pot into a unique masterpiece, no prior painting experience is necessary and supplies will be provided.

Meet the Facilitator
Chawntay Barrett (she/her) is an emerging artist and designer based in the Greater Toronto Area. Community is an important aspect in Chawntay’s creative practice, she is an alumni of the ArtworksTO Next Stream program and the Remix Project, and is currently on the
Vibe Arts emerging artist roster. Chawntay works primarily as a figurative painter with oil and acrylic paint on canvas as well as with digital media for illustrations and design. As a woman of afro-Caribbean descent, Caribbean culture is a vital underlying theme in many of her artworks; the majority of her work explores womanhood and the overall black experience in the modern era.
